"Eleanor Howe Marston opened her Sandy Spring,
Md., farmhouse to the elderly more than 50 years ago. She began a tradition
of “touching people’s lives” through a commitment to total
well-being and a philosophy of service and care.
Brooke Grove Retirement Village pioneered the community-living concept in
Montgomery County, and for more than half a century has been an industry
leader in assisted living, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and Alzheimer’s
services, providing a continuum of care for older adults. With the additional
two campuses, Williamsport Retirement Village located in Williamsport, Maryland
and Rest Assured Residential Living located in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania,
the Brooke Grove Foundation is able to keep the family dream alive by offering
quality care to individuals in need.
